About Us

Willow Bend Hunt Club

President, Ralph Stow

Established in 2005, the Willow Bend Hunt Club was originally founded as a social organization comprised of outdoorsmen and conservationists in the North Dallas and West Plano area.  Over the years, the organization has grown and developed into a robust philanthropic (non-profit) corporation serving many facets of wildlife and habitat conservation, support of military heroes and their families, and outdoor youth experiential education.

Annually, the WBHC holds several key fundraising events, the largest of which is our Beast Feast and Sporting Clay’s Shoot, in the spring of each year.  More information on the Willow Bend Hunt Club can be found on our Facebook Page: Willow Bend Hunt Club.

In addition, the WBHC periodically finds and secures unique outdoor opportunities for our beneficiaries, and also arranges for specialty activities for youth organizations such as hunters education classes and youth hunting opportunities at member lease properties, and philanthropic donations to other causes, such as Folds of Honor,  Hunters for the Hungry, Military Warriors Support Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Operation Finally Home, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Teammates for Kids.

As a 501(c)(3) corporation, The WBHC is governed by a 7-member Board of Directors. We are continually seeking meaningful education and conservation activities and opportunities, as well as outdoor & sporting fundraising events in support of our target beneficiaries and mission.

In past years, the WBHC has raised private donations to support a wildlife and wetlands projects at an award-winning native black land prairie ranch south of the DFW Metroplex.  This working ranch and wetlands project has been used as a part of our ongoing youth and adult outdoor experiential education efforts through the Boys & Girls Clubs and for scholarship events for individual scholarship recipients.
